Refund Policy:

Any refunds or warranties mentioned in the description for any individual product on this website will supersede the following Refunds and Exchanges Policy where applicable. Also, any specialized Manufactures Guarantee or Warranty will supersede the following Refunds and Exchanges Policy, although in some cases returns and repairs may have to be arranged directly with the Manufacturer.

Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection. You can exchange where the goods are the wrong size. Please notify us if your order is incorrect with in 24hrs of receiving it. If an incorrect item is sent - Exotic Reptiles will cover costs of return and resending but in the case of making a wrong sizing selection please contact us for details regarding an exchange and post items back to us with a prepaid envelope or satchel for return. Postage is not credited.

Special orders - we are happy to source new products but cannot credit or exchange unwanted items. 

Clearance orders will not be refunded as they are a clearance item so once again choose carefully.

* PRODUCTS RETURNED WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION OR IN USED CONDITION WILL NOT BE CREDITED.

Defective Product or the wrong item was shipped:

Any defective product which has been used as according to the Manufactures instructions and is returned to Exotic Reptiles within 12 days will be exchanged by Exotic Reptiles. If an exchange is not available, the customer will be given the choice of having the item and appropriate shipment costs refunded. If the customer chooses and if available, the item may be returned to the manufacturer and repaired. If another means of shipping is chosen by the customer, the costs will not be refunded. If the order is damaged, defective or the wrong item was shipped, please save the carton and all the packing material as well as the item. Notify us immediately at (03) 59954430 so we can instruct you on the proper handling of the merchandise. This will ensure the quickest replacement.

"Cash on delivery" or "Postage Due" items will never be accepted by Exotic Reptiles.

Change of Mind:

Should you change your mind on your product selection, we will exchange any goods with any other goods of equal value, minus postage and handling costs*, once the purchase has been returned to Exotic Reptiles and provided the following:

  • The goods are returned to Exotic Reptiles within ten days of their shipment from Exotic Reptiles.
  • All original packaging is intact and unopened, and the product has not been used.
  • The product is in a suitable state to be resold.
  • The product is not damaged in transit.
  • A letter or email describing why the product has been returned is included.
  • Our preferred method of return is by Australia Post Economy Post, "Cash on delivery" or "Postage Due" items are never accepted by Exotic Reptiles.
The above does not apply for any products not normally stocked by Exotic Reptiles and have been specially ordered or customized as per a customers request or requirements. This includes all replacement items and any items offered to customers that Exotic Reptiles does not normally stock.

* Please note: Postage and handling costs from the original purchase will not be refunded. Any orders that are being returned that had qualified for free delivery will have the postage costs from the original order deducted at the delivery cost amount.


Any exchange of goods will be subject to normal postage and handling costs and no free delivery or special offers applies.

All monetary refunds will be made by either PAYPAL or Directly into your account to be decided by Exotic Reptiles.

Price Changes:
Every attempt has been made to keep this site up to date but prices may vary without warning. If a price has changed you will be contacted before goods sent to fixed up the differences.

All prices shown are in Australian currency, and include GST.

Shipping Policy:

All shipping will be posted via Australia Post for small packages, or by parcel delivery by other firms if a large order is made. On large light items a cubic weight charge will apply. A parcel with any dimension greater than 105cm or heavier than 20kg will need to go via Courier and will be POA.  


When to Expect Delivery:
Delivery time is on 1/ time required to process the order and 2/ time used by carrier to deliver the package. Depending upon your location, most orders should be received within 2-14 days. this time frame may vary during holiday periods.

Out of Stock Items:

From time to time, it is unavoidable, stock shortage will occur. We apologize should any ordered item be out of stock. When the item arrives to us it will be shipped to you immediately, in most cases by express post and you will not pay and additional fees.

Delivery Fees & Charges:

All Delivery fees & charges will be placed as an separate item due to paypal not being able to work out cost on a per kilo basics, so to make it fair on the customer we have added the delivery cost to the price to per item, approximately $4.00 per item.
